Investors who have invested their hard-earned money in major US indices have enjoyed respectable returns over the past five years. Despite a series of recent market corrections, including recent market volatility caused in part by the Russia-Ukraine war and the 2020 Covid-induced stock market crash, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF SPY, Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 QQQ And SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust SLIDE returned 52%, 94% and 35% respectively.

As well as investors in the major US indices have fared over the past five years, some of the world’s most popular consumer discretionary, technology, and altcoin stocks have also delivered stellar returns. Bulls who took a chance on these names were rewarded with gains that outperformed much of the broader market.
