Worth over $250 million Bitcoin BTC/USD has just been moved to an unknown address from an inactive wallet that has been inactive for three and a half years.

What happened?: The address that received the money now holds nearly half a billion worth of bitcoin.

When Bitcoin’s price peaked, the old wallet was valued at more than $1 billion. As market conditions worsened, the whale’s portfolio took a major hit, with just $250 million left of the original billion-dollar investment.

The wallet activity suggests it may have come from a large whale that has been storing Bitcoin in many wallets.
