Tesla Inc TSLA chairman Elon Musk will lead Twitter after bought the company last Thursday.
What happened: Musk announced his new position in a filing filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.

Why it matters: A separate filing showed Musk became the sole director of Twitter after the purchase Jack Dorsey-guided platform.
After the takeover, Musk fired Parag Agrawal, the CEO of Twitter and some other key executives like the CFO Ned Segal and legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gade.
Musk declared himself Twitter’s “chief twit” in an apparent signal that he would appoint themselves as interim CEO.
