apple inc AAPL tries to strengthen his MacBook Sale with a rare small business promotional offer.

What happened: Apple is offering a discount of up to 10% on its 14-inch and 16-inch models MacBook Pros with M1-based chips, according to the company and Apple retail employees, reported Bloomberg.

Businesses purchasing five to 24 MacBook Pros in any combination of screen sizes and configurations receive an 8% discount. From a quantity of 25 units you will receive a 10% discount. The deal runs until December 24th.

Apple described the new promotion as a “very special Mac promotion” in its marketing materials. The company’s sales force has begun reaching out to companies with previous relationships Tim cook-managed company.

Why it matters: The move is a rare example for the Cupertino, California-based tech giant. It suggests the company is making extra efforts to deal with the drop in sales over the holiday season, the report said.

Last month, Apple said its vacation quarter would grow at a slower pace than the prior period as Mac revenue declined “significantly.”

With the new avant-garde MacBook Pro launching in the same quarter last year, and no such product launching this year’s holiday season, this rare promotional offer could be Apple’s best bet.
