11/29/2022 / PRZen / NEW YORK – African American Women In Cinema (AAWIC) is a 501 c3 non-profit organization at the forefront of the content economy, consistently supporting the dynamic work of women filmmakers. This support has been constant over the past 24 years. AAWIC provides a platform to showcase both experienced and novice filmmakers, directors, producers, screenwriters, and actors. Its mission is to expand, research and create business opportunities for minority women filmmakers in the entertainment industry.

AAWIC’s mission is to provide a path for artistic women to achieve their dreams by showcasing their talents, exposing them to peer interaction, and mentoring them from established professionals. “African American Women In Cinema is excited to offer an opportunity on #Giving Tuesday to those who wish to support talented storytellers/filmmakers!” said Terra Renee, Founder and President of AAWIC.

#GivingTuesday is a campaign creating global opportunities for women filmmakers and content creators from minority groups. Donating cash or cryptocurrency to this campaign will provide the necessary capital to make more marginalized voices heard. All donations will have a tremendous impact, connecting our African American women filmmakers to the people, resources and professional development opportunities across the entertainment industry. You can donate $50, $100, or $1,000 in cash or cryptocurrency.
