Former First Lady Melanie Trump was concerned about unannounced visits to the White House residence and the bad advice donald trump was used by lawyers such as Rudy Giuliani and Sydney Powellafter a copy of the testimony of Stephanie Grishamher former chief of staff.

What happened: “She hated it when people came into the residence,” Grisham initially said, according to the witness written down in the New York Post.

Melania was annoyed by the frequent meetings in the Yellow Ovala room in the living quarters of the White House.

“She was very upset because no one wanted to give her a heads up and she was walking around in a robe, stuff like that. But she never gave me names other than Sidney Powell, Giuliani, and campaigners. Those were her words,” Grisham said.

Why it matters: “Ms. Trump always wanted to be warned before people came into her home,” Grisham told the March 6 investigative committee US Capitol.

The testimony also touched on Trump’s advisors. Melania blamed the former chief of staff Mark Meadows for not giving the former US leader better advice.

Grisham said Melania was also wary of Giuliani and Powell and others who “came to the residence and spoke to the president.”

The former official revealed that Melania “started packing” when the presidential election was called Joe Bidenon the Saturday after Election Day.

Aware of the Jan. 6 rally, Melania said, “There’s going to be a rally and all these crazy people are telling him to do that rally, I don’t want to go to it.”
