SHANGHAI, January 11, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — To 10. JanuaryNeta Auto and CATL (shanghai) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL), has signed a cooperation agreement on the CATL Integrated Intelligent Chassis (CIIC). Neta Auto becomes the first brand in China EV startups to develop the CIIC.

According to the agreement, Neta Auto and CATL (shanghai) Intelligent Technology will work closely together in the CIIC. Cell to Chassis (CTC) technology integrates key components in battery and other systems on the underside of the vehicle without the need for separate battery packs. This can reduce initial costs and energy consumption for the user, increase range per charge and expand passenger space.

The strategic collaboration between Neta Auto and CATL dates back to 2021. This time, Neta Auto not only carries out extensive cooperation with CATL in the fields of technological R&D and supply chain guarantee, but also goes further to jointly explore the possibility of vehicles with the skateboard chassis.
