Would you work for Elon Musk at Twitter? 69% of Benzinga followers…

Since acquiring the social media platform Twitterdownsizing and working for Elon Musk were popular topics. In November 2022, Benzinga polled his Twitter followers to find out how people feeling of working for Musk.

What happened: musk completed a $44 billion acquisition from Twitter last year. The deal makes Musk the current CEO of Twitter. Tesla Inc TSLA And SpaceX.

Since acquiring Twitter, Musk has placed great emphasis on changing things and pushing the platform forward. The move involves shedding jobs and focusing on ready-to-work employees drive the next growth step.

Twitter employees were fired for posting comments about Musk on the internal communication platform Slack and also for called him publicly on Twitter.

While Musk is known as a demanding boss, he’s also well-represented in lists of top bosses to work for praised by former Tesla employees. He should also reward loyal employees with generous stock option packages.

Given the recent attention paid to Twitter employees and working for Musk, Benzinga polled his Twitter followers for answers.

The Twitter poll: gasoline ga queried his Twitter followers and asked the following question:

“If you had the chance, would you work for Elon Musk’s hardcore twitter?”

The question was in response to Musk’s high demands for workers on Twitter, with several reported ultimatums being given to employees to keep working hard or to quit.

The possible answers were:

  • yes sign me up
  • If the pay is good, yes
  • No no interest
  • I would never work for Musk

The responses gave followers a chance to decide if they would work for Musk in any context and if they would consider working for him in the high-intensity environment at Twitter.

The results showed that a majority of respondents preferred working for Musk, including those willing to work under Musk’s new hardcore plan.
