US stocks traded lower towards the end of trade, with the Nasdaq Composite falling more than 2% on Tuesday.

The Dow fell 2.06% to 33,129.04, while the NASDAQ fell 2.39% to 11,506.10. The S&P 500 was also down 2.05% to 3,995.66.

Leading and lagging sectors

• Energy stocks rose around 0.1% on Tuesday. Meanwhile top winner in the sector included Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. HLXup to 15% and StealthGas Inc. GASincreased by 5%.
• In Tuesday’s trading, consumer discretionary stocks fell 2.8%.

The S&P Global Manufacturing PMI for the US rose to 47.8 in February from 46.9 in the previous month, while the composite PMI rose to 50.2 in February from 46.8 in the previous month.

• Harbor Custom Development, Inc. HCDI Shares soared 57% to $0.55 after the company announced it had agreed to sell townhomes in Mills Crossing for $14.25 million.
• shares of Arbe Robotics Ltd. WORK got a boost and rose 49% to $6.50. Arbe Robotics is expected to report its fourth quarter financial results on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
