A day after Elon Musk warned of a “major” Russian offensive in Ukraine carried out by Vladimir Putin’s troops sustained attacks on the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut.

What happened: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, In his late night video address on Tuesday, he said: “The hardest part remains Bakhmut and the fighting that is essential to defending the city.”

“Russia in general does not care about people and sends them in constant waves against our positions, the intensity of the fighting is only increasing,” Zelenskyy said.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a statement on Tuesday Ukrainian planes launched three strikes in concentration areas of the Russian armed forces.

The military said while most of the attacks were focused on Bakhmut and other towns and villages in Donetsk, Moscow also shelled more than 20 settlements in northern regions near the Russian border.

Musk warned of this on Tuesday Kyiv must be in “defense mode”. as Putin may be planning a major offensive against the war-torn nation.
