Elon Musk‘S Tesla Inc. TSLA announced more updates to its more expensive electric cars on Thursday, including an “Ultra Red” paint option and a high-visibility glass roof.
What happened: In a Twitter thread, Tesla revealed the new features added to its lineup for the Model S And Model X. The company also said upgraded brake pads have been fitted to the Plaid S and X models.
The new glass roof would be a “high-visible” roof that weighs less and lets in five times more light than before with the same UV protection.
“Our new Model S roof glass lets in more light, allowing for a clearer view of the sky, day and night, while maintaining the same level of thermal and UV protection,” Tesla said.
Instead of just the yoke, customers now also have a round steering option available.

Why it matters: Twitter users have reported the lack of autopilot hardware in the new feature update.
Tesla reportedly started rolling out a earlier this week new fully self-driving beta Version 11 software update.
Tesla too chopped prices on Bot Model S and Model X between 4% and 9%.
