On February 9, 2023, Credit Suisse released its financial results for 2022 and reported client outflows of 110.5 billion Swiss francs in the last three months of 2022. As a result of this news, Credit Suisse ADS price fell by 0.56 USD or 15 .6% and closed at $3.02 per unit ADS on February 9, 2023.
Then, on February 21, 2023, Reuters reported that Credit Suisse chairman Axel Lehmann was facing an investigation into comments made during an interview in early December in which he claimed that client outflows had “essentially stopped”.
