mental health companies Numinus Wellness Inc. NUMIF launches a collection of Psychedelics-Assisted Therapists (PAT) training courses for practitioners using multimodal teaching methods.

Since autumn 2022, more than 200 practitioners have completed the various practitioner training courses on PAT basics, molecular basics and practical applications, CEO Payton Nyquivest says.

The new Numinus certification path enables therapists and healthcare professionals to learn PAT protocols and interact with practitioners to share practical experiences in delivering integrative and transformative mental wellbeing.

The new certification path has an average of 30 places for external practitioners in each course offered. Upon completion of each course, practitioners receive a certificate recognized by multiple Canadian and US accrediting bodies.

Upon full completion of all Pathway courses, participants will receive a formal certificate demonstrating competency to provide PAT for the specific drug.

The core component of the certification path, The Fundamentals of PAT, is now accepting registrations and will begin in May 2023.
