Epic Games Founder supported Elon Musk’s Decision to make the blue tick Twitter accessible to the crowds at $8 while White House and several others refuse to pay for it.

What happened: On Monday, Tim Sweeney shared his views on Musk highly controversially Twitter Blue examination Subscription that comes with multiple featuresincluding a test mark.

Sweeney shared a 2020 tweet challenging Twitter’s traditional method of verifying accounts on the platform, saying, “Twitter was wrong to only verify elites and friends of Twitter employees.”

He also praised Musk’s decision to democratize verification for $8 and “treat everyone equally.”

When one user said the problem with the new paid verification system is that it “deboosts millions of votes” who can’t pay the $8 monthly fee, Sweeney said, “Twitter has always promoted the elite. Now they are increasing all verifications.”

Derek Smart also jumped into the conversation saying that verified blue was about making sure an account holder is real, but now it’s all about making money.
