About the Skylight Health Group

Skylight Health Group SLHGSLHGF is a healthcare services and technology company working to positively impact patient health outcomes. The Company operates a federal primary care health care network in the United States comprised of physician offices that provide a range of services from primary care, subspecialties, allied health services and laboratory/diagnostic testing. The company is focused on helping small and independent practices transition from a traditional fee-for-service (FFS) model to value-based care (VBC) through tools such as proprietary technology, data analytics and infrastructure. In an FFS model, payers (commercial and government insurers) reimburse using an encounter-based approach. This puts the focus on patient volume per day. In a VBC model, care providers provide care aimed at maintaining patient health and minimizing unnecessary health care expenditures that are not demonstrably maintaining patient well-being. Quality comes before volume. VBC will lead to improved patient outcomes, reduced delivery costs and stronger financial performance for existing practices.
