Former Michigan Speaker Rick Johnson, two lobbyists and a businessman from Oakland County were present recently charged with bribery in connection with the State Marijuana Licensing operations.

Johnson, who was appointed chairman of the state’s medical marijuana licensing committee from May 2017 to April 2019, is accused of accepting over $100,000 in bribes in exchange for licenses to open marijuana facilities.
