Elon Musk’s Twitter To Allow Users To Trade Stocks, Crypto: Report

Twitter has reportedly announced a new partnership with eToro that will allow users to view market charts and trade stocks and cryptocurrencies.

What happened: Accordingly CNBCthe move is part of Elon Muskplans to turn Twitter into a super app that will allow users to access multiple services in one place.

The eToro partnership expands Twitter’s “cash tags” to cover a broader range of instruments and asset classes, according to an eToro spokesperson quoted by CNBC.

Currently, Twitter cash tags show major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin BTC/USD, ether ETH/USD And Dogecoins DOGE/USD. This was done in collaboration with Robinhood.

Users can also click the View on eToro button, which takes them directly to eToro’s website where they can buy and sell assets on the platform. EToro uses TradingView as a market data partner.

Yoni AssiaeToro CEO, said the partnership will allow the company to better connect with the Twitter and eToro brands, thereby reaching new audiences.

“There is very high quality content, real-time content on financial analysis of companies and events around the world. We believe this partnership will allow us to reach these new audiences [and] better connect the Twitter and eToro brands.”
