MorganStanley MS reported better than expected First Quarter Results.
Morgan Stanley reported first-quarter net income of $14.5 billion, down from $14.8 billion a year earlier, beating consensus of $13.9 billion. Net income fell to $3.0 billion from $3.7 billion a year earlier, with earnings per share of $1.70 beating consensus of $1.62.
Morgan Stanley shares were up 0.8% on Thursday at $91.18.
These analysts changed their price targets for Morgan Stanley after the earnings were announced.
- BMO capital Cut Morgan Stanley price target to $104 from $108. BMO Capital analyst James Fotheringham maintained an Outperform rating.
- Oppenheimer raised the price target for Morgan Stanley from $95 to $103. Oppenheimer analyst Chris Kotowski kept the stock with an outperform rating.
- Citigroup lowering the price target for Morgan Stanley from $100 to $95. Citigroup analyst Keith Horowitz maintained a neutral stance on the stock.
