The Solana SOL/USD Foundation, endowment announced on Tuesday that it has integrated artificial intelligence (AI) into its decentralized ledger blockchain ChatGPT Plugin developed by Solana Labs.

What happened: The AI-supported tool is initially aimed at end users and is intended to help them get started in the Web3 area.

It can be used to buy and list non-fungible tokens (NFTs), transfer tokens and verify transactions, interpret data and find NFT collections by reserve price.

The RPC node reads data from multiple sources in the chain and constructs responses for users requesting the data. An RPC (Remote Procedure Call) node facilitates communication between a blockchain network and a client.

Why it matters: The foundation already showed initiative in early April to accelerate the growth of AI in its ecosystem with an AI-focused accelerator program for university students.

“Any developer building consumer-centric apps should think about how their app will be interacted with via an AI model, because that’s a new paradigm for telling computers what to do,” he said Anatoly YakovenkoCo-founder of Solana and CEO of Solana Labs.
