Terry Burman is stepping down as CEO and retiring at the end of his current term;
Nigel Travis, current Independent Director and Chair of the Nominating and Board Governance Committee, will become the new Board Chair
NEW ALBANY, Ohio, Nov. 22, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ANF, a leading global omnichannel specialty retailer of apparel and accessories, today announced a change in its board of directors as part of a leadership change. After five years in that position and in connection with his plans to retire as a Director, Terry Burman will retire effective the close of the Company’s fiscal year ending on the 28th of election at the Company’s 2023 AGM. Nigel Travis, current Director and Chair of the Board’s Nominating and Board Governance Committee, will assume the role of Chair effective January 28, 2023.
Mr. Burman joined the Board in January 2014 and was appointed non-executive Chairman in February 2018. Mr. Travis joined the Board in February 2019 as an independent director.
