NEWMARKET, Ont., December 16, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AirBoss of America Corp. BOSABSSF (the “Company” or “AirBoss”) announced today that it has become aware that a complaint has been served in the Ontario Superior Court (under the Class Proceedings Act, 1992) against AirBoss and several named officers. The case was initiated by Jonathan A. Callowhill and Shane Chambers, who are applying for permission to continue the case Securities Act (Ontario) to certify the proceeding as a class action and appoint them as representative plaintiffs. Mr. Callowhill owns 2,400 shares of AirBoss and Mr. Chambers owns 6,000 shares of AirBoss. Among other things, they require a statement that the company has provided false information that contradicts this Securities Act (Ontario) during a period from November 9, 2021 to September 6, 2022 and unspecified damages.
The complaint has not yet been formally served on the defendants. The company intends to vigorously defend itself against this matter.
