- Airbus SE SIMPLY notifies customers of delivery delays for its A320neo Family jets. The expected delay is three months.
- In a statement to Reuters, Airbus confirmed unspecified delays for 2024 but said they did not reflect a worsening of supply chain issues since it revised production schedules earlier this year. It reiterated production targets for 2024 and beyond.
- “We communicated the impact for 2023 back in December and are now talking in detail about 2024,” Airbus said in an email to Reuters.
- The delays particularly affect the larger and sought-after A321neo variant, which now accounts for more than half of Airbus deliveries, the report said.

- The report cited two airline industry sources who said they were still struggling to find the clarity needed for network planning. “We are still being supplied with drip food,” a source said, adding that the delays indicated supply chains were not improving significantly.
- Price promotion: EADSY shares closed up 1.13% at $35.05 on Monday.
