AKCP, the world’s oldest and largest provider of connected wired and wireless sensor solutions, has announced the sensorProbe1+ Monitoring Base Unit

07.09.2022 / PRZen / MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM — AKCP has announced the release of their latest addition to the sensorProbe+ Series. The sensorProbe1+ (SP1+) is a simple but powerful SNMP-enabled sensor device. Equipped with a smart sensor port, dry contact input, 5ft fixed length temperature sensor, and PoE as standard. The SP1+ runs the same software and user interface as the rest of the sensorProbe+ series. It offers the same functionality with up to 80 virtual sensors (5 included for free), SNMPV3, IPV6, Radius, Tacacs, Modbus TCP/IP, MQTTS and more.

The SP1+ comes with a 1-year subscription to the AKCPro Server Cloud. Up to 4 base stations per company can be connected free of charge for 12 months. Centralize management and monitoring with custom desktops, graphics, 3D mapping, and alerts for all your deployed AKCP base units.

Connect a variety of smart AKCP sensors to the SP1+’s sensor port. AKCP has sensors for environmental, power, and security monitoring. A built-in temperature sensor on a 5-foot cable is also included. AKCP has dedicated sensors to monitor the data center, such as: B. Closet heat maps. Through the SP1+’s single sensor port, it is possible to add the sensor splitter box to monitor rack top, center, bottom, front and rear temperature, ∆T, front/rear humidity and rack power consumption. This is a total of 12 sensors on a single port. Add a door contact sensor to the contact closure and you have a complete environmental, security and power monitoring solution for a single rack cabinet.

The SP1+ is powered by PoE or a 5V USB input and can also be used with PoE as a redundant power source.

The AKCP sensorProbe1+ is available today from your nearest AKCP dealer. Contact [email protected] for more details.
