HOUSTON, March 20, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Amplify Energy Corp. (“Amplify” or the “Company”) AMPIG announced today that Dan Furbee has joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Amplify, Mr. Furbee was a partner at Sentinel Petroleum from February 2022 to March 2023 and an independent consultant to various companies from January 2021 to January 2022. Previously, Mr. Furbee served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Riviera Resources, Inc. from August 2018 to December 2020, Vice President of Asset and Business Development of Linn Energy Inc. from March 2018 to August 2018 and onwards September as Vice President of Business Development and Asset Development for Sanchez Energy Corporation from 2013 to February 2018. From 2005 to August 2013, Mr. Furbee held various technical positions of increasing responsibility at Linn Energy, LLC. Mr. Furbee holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
