What happened: Apple on Tuesday announced the release of candidate versions of iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4, giving developers a preview of the upcoming operating system update that will soon be available to the public.
Interestingly, even at this stage, new revelations continue to emerge, reported AppleInsider.

In the release candidate Twitter users and developers Aaron Mentioned references to upcoming AirPods models, including model number A3048 and AirPods case A2968.
Analysts are speculating that Apple may be planning to release a cheaper version of its AirPods called AirPods Lite, which may include a stripped-down feature to reduce production costs. Rumors of a new iteration of the AirPods Max are also circulating, the report said.
In addition to discovering clues about new AirPods models, the leak is said to have given a glimpse of an upcoming one punches Headphone iteration, specifically the Outperforms Studio Buds+.
Why it matters: In January, analyst Ming Chi Kuo said Apple would introduce soon cheaper AirPods with a target price of $99 and the new AirPods Max.
Until now, Markus Gurman also predicted that given Apple’s forthcoming mixed reality headsets, it’s unlikely the company will do so reveal all major breakthroughs in 2023.
