The delay in the development of apple inc‘s AAPL highly anticipated mixed reality headset could hamper the company’s plans to hold a media event for the device in January.
What happened: Apple will likely announce its mixed reality headset at a spring media event or World developer conferenceor WWDC, depending on how development progresses, said Ming Chi KuoAnalyst at TF International Securities.

Kuo made the predictions that this is likely, given that Apple’s development of mixed reality headsets is “behind schedule.”

As a result, it’s highly unlikely that Apple will hold a media event for the new device in January.
