Cookies opens his new Ukiah store in Mendocino County. This new location is a License partnership with the Chandi Hospitality Group (CHG).

To celebrate the grand opening on September 3, Cookies Mendocino will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:45 am, with the store officially open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm on opening day. The grand opening will feature a special guest The Twerkulator, vendor booths and special discounts at Mountain Mikes next door. Get in line early as there are special freebies for those who arrive early.

“With our experience in real estate development projects and Cookies’ leadership in the legalized cannabis market, we hope this project will raise awareness of the cannabis business and create opportunities for other small businesses to enter the cannabis industry,” stated Sonu Chandi, CEO of Chandi Hospitality Group. “Our commitment is to continue to support the local community and find new ways to fuel economic and tourism growth in the Mendocino County area.”

This is CHG’s second small business in the area. His first project was the 4,400 square meter one. ft. Mountain Mikes Restaurant in Ukiah, which features an updated restaurant design with two private party rooms, a full bar and a children’s activity area.

“It is important to us that Cookie Mendocino represents the very best in Northern California cannabis strains, products and culture. To make this vision a reality, we hired a local legend, Ishta Muhammadto become the CEO of the business,” Chandi continued.

Ishta Muhammad was born and raised in Ukiah. She has always had a passion for cannabis, but after surviving cancer, she learned a whole new purpose and love for the plant and the way it can help people.
