The second most valued cryptocurrency, ether ETH/USDhowever, fell below the $1,600 mark.

Other popular crypto coins including Dogecoins DOGE/USD and Solana SOL/USDwas also trading in red this morning.

eCash XECUSD was the top gainer in the last 24 hours while helium HNT/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap has fallen to $976.25 billion, down 0.5% over the past 24 hours. BTC traded about 1.1% lower to $20,030 while ETH fell about 2.2% to $1,552 on Thursday.

Investors are now awaiting the earnings results of Hormel Foods Corporation HRL, Campbell Soup Company CPB, Lululemon Athletica Inc. LULU and Broadcom Inc. AVGOshould be published today.
