Australian computer scientist craig wright, who claims to be the creator of Bitcoin BTC/USDlaunched a devastating attack on ripple XRP/USD.

What happened: Wright called on Wednesday ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse “Criminal [who] claim that crime will suffer.”

He responded to a tweet that said the Ripple boss had warned that the SEC’s “enforcement” approach could harm the US crypto industry.

This isn’t the first time Wright, the creator of Bitcoin SV BSV/USD attacked Ripple and XRP directly. He previously called it the “most worthless pump-and-dump scheme.”

Wright had promised to provide an academic analysis of XRP in 2023, claiming that it would prove the system’s dishonesty.

Ripple CTO in February David Black called Wright a “despicable coward” for using legal process to suppress the opinion of developers, an action Schwartz finds “disgusting and grotesque.”
