NEW YORK & KANSAS CITY, Mon., March 02, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Although there are nearly 13 million women-owned businesses in the U.S. as of early 2023, many of these businesses remain financially underserved by the traditional financing industry. Policymakers and advocacy groups have continued to strive to provide women-owned companies with expanded access to capital.

Biz2Credit will publish its annual 2023 Women-Owned Business Study on International Women’s Day, Wednesday 8 March 2023, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. In addition, Biz2Credit will be co-hosting an online forum on March 8th from 2-3pm EST US Rep. Sharice Davids (D, KS-03).

Business owners have the opportunity to hear from Congresswoman Davids on how the federal government and private industry are working together to support women business owners in the current time of economic uncertainty and high inflation.
