Corresponding Data From Adobe Analytics, consumers spent a record $9.12 billion on online purchases during Black Friday.
The analysis showed online spending rose 2.3% on Black Friday, with Cyber Monday expected to be the biggest online shopping day of the season, with spending topping 11.2 will drive billions of dollars.
“Cyber Monday will feature the best deals on computers (27%) and furniture (11%). Those looking to buy a device should consider waiting until Thursday (December 1st) when discounts will peak at 18%. on average,” says the report.
Adobe said e-goods were a big contributor, as online sales rose 221% in an average day in October.

The toy segment was another popular category for shoppers, up 285%, while exercise equipment purchases were up 218%.
Other in-demand items during this year’s Black Friday included gaming consoles, drones, Apple MacBooks, Dyson products and kid favorites like Fortnite, Roblox, Bluey, Funko Pop and Disney Encanto, the report said.
According to the report, mobile shopping accounted for 48% of all digital sales on Black Friday.
Canadian e-commerce company Shopify Inc SHOP reported that Black Friday sales hit a record $3.36 billion this year, up nearly 17% from 2021.
The Adobe data assumes that the Total spending this holiday season will increase by 2.5% compared to the previous year.
