Overall, the use of effects in the entertainment industry is nothing new. But yesterday’s artists used to work with their hands; today they have high-tech tools at their disposal that allow them to bring almost anything to life.

Where does computer graphics begin?

“Some think that the designers’ work ends when a tournament begins. Just to be clear, that’s not true. A big tournament like WePlay AniMajor lasts about two weeks, which means that the design work continues until the last day.

The example of WePlay AniMajor did not come about by accident. It was the biggest tournament of our company. The bar is set very high for Dota 2 Majors as they are one of the most important events of the year for fans, just a step behind The International, the Dota 2 World Championship. Everyone wants to know who will make it to the biggest Dota 2 tournament and win the multi-million dollar prize. That’s why we did our best to make our Major in Kyiv one of the most spectacular events of 2021.

Each tournament stage is important, so designers need to go the extra mile to keep the community entertaining them. Let me give you a simple example of my work: WePlay AniMajor water lilies.
