Tel Aviv, Israel, January 15, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Cipia CPIA, a provider of AI computer vision in-cab solutions for the automotive industry, announced today that the company, together with Tier 1 HiRain, has achieved a design win with another Chinese OEM. Cipia’s Driver Sense Driver Monitoring System (DMS) will be integrated into a pickup truck model that will be sold South America, Australia and New Zealand. Cipia’s DMS will run on an OmniVision SoC. The model is scheduled to go into production in 2023.

The deal breaks new ground for Cipia and represents the company’s first design win with both HiRain and the OEM. With this announcement, Cipia has now received 29 design wins from 6 automakers.
