– New product distribution partnership with Amerus

(“Citizen” or the “Company”) CIAa diversified financial services company offering life, end-of-life and property insurance with limited liability announced today that it has expanded its white-label program by entering into a new distribution agreement with Amerus Financial Group, an independent insurance agency specializing in senior citizen solutions. Under the terms of the partnership, Amerus will distribute Citizens life and end-of-cost insurance products sold under the Amerus Silver Shield brand. These products are sold through CICA Life Insurance Company of America, a Citizens company.

This partnership furthers Citizens’ goal to be the industry leader and partner of choice for white-label custom products, and allows Amerus to add another valuable product for its customers. With Citizens’ product know-how, support and ability to quickly develop new products in multiple languages, it makes sense to be a strong partner in the white label space. Coupled with Amerus’ established history and commitment to its senior customers, Citizens’ white-label product, Amerus Silver Shield, will serve the living and end-of-life markets.
