The new top-of-the-line R-Series was unveiled at a special invitational event in Miami last night, which was also streamed live on Facebook.

Powered by your choice of twin Mercruiser or Volvo engines, the R35’s sleek, sleek lines continue Cobalt’s trend towards contemporary design, with a deep cockpit and increased freeboard for a more spacious interior and larger bow and cockpit areas. Standard features include a Garmin glass cockpit with multiple touchscreen displays, ultra-fast USB-C charging stations, an abundance of storage and drink holders, an integrated swim step and a cabin that offers seating for use with a smart TV/music player in addition to sleeping accommodation /game console. Other premium options include a premium Harman Kardon marine audio system, side entry door, Seakeeper gyro stabilization system and Cobalt’s patented Splash & Stow inflatable boat management system.

New luxury options for the R35 include an Auto Deploy Galley, complete with sink, microwave and electric grill, that rises from a solid bench seat at the touch of a button; a Helm Watch display that gives passengers access to maps and cabin controls on a dedicated Garmin screen; a built-in fridge/freezer with adjustable temperature range from 0 to 50 degrees; and a compact FLIR thermal imaging camera that provides an extra level of security and situational awareness.
