COMCAST SPECTACOR TAKES THE LEAD AT VINCERA KIDS EVENT

PHILADELPHIA, April 29, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Comcast Spectacor, the sports and entertainment division of Comcast Corporation and owner of the Philadelphia Flyers, has taken the lead in sponsoring the 2023 Vincera Children’s Classic, the Executive Director of the Vincera Foundation announced Chris Wilmot Today. Vincera directs the golf and awards dinner event, 100% of which proceeds go to his increasingly impactful charity, in partnership with Team IMPACT, and Jason Kelces new “Be Philly” foundation. The goal of all three organizations is to use sport as a vehicle to enrich the lives and careers of young people. TEAM IMPACT places children facing serious illnesses and disabilities on collegiate athletic teams in this region and across the country, and the Be Philly Foundation focuses on charities in the greater area Philadelphia Area. This year, Vincera celebrates those who recently retired Angelo Cataldi, which has had such a profound impact on sports entertainment in Philly. Next up is the event Monday May 8th at the Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyn.

Joe DeCamara, the new host of Angelo’s WIP The Morning Show, will continue in his enduring role as Master of Ceremonies for this event. Numerous athletes Philadelphia and elsewhere as well as the public participate. A few golf and dinner tickets are still available.
