In court documents related to bankruptcy proceedings against Pleterski, he is accused of having spent millions. Trapped and distraught, Pleterski contacted his landlord in the middle of the night and asked for a staggering $3 million — according to court records.

“I got several calls from Aiden,” the landlord recalls, “but it was late at night and I finally had enough. At around 1:30 a.m. I took the call.”

Pleterski told him there was no one else to call, to which the landlord simply said, “There’s absolutely nothing I can do.”

It turns out that Pleterski is embroiled in a bankruptcy controversy in which he was asked to invest over $40 million but instead spent nearly $16 million on luxury vacations, high-end cars and private jets, according to CTV News.

Commenting on the case, liquidator Rob Stelzer said: “He ran a business where he told people he was going to invest their money and that didn’t happen. He really didn’t do what he said.”
