BROOKINGS, SD, Feb. 03, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — As fans come to Citizens Bank Park to cheer on the reigning National League Champion Phillies for the 2023 season, they’ll be treated to the latest and greatest in High Dynamic Range (HDR) experience. Video technology thanks to a massive new video display – one of the largest in the major leagues – being manufactured and installed by dactronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota.
The new display will be 4K and HDR capable and will feature a 77% magnification over the previous display, which also featured the latest technology from Daktronics, a longtime Phillies partner.

The new structure is currently being installed and will officially debut on Thursday, April 6th in the Phillies home opener against the Cincinnati Reds.
Measuring approximately 85 feet tall and 151 feet wide, the new display will offer nearly 12,900 square feet of digital real estate to entertain and excite fans with every game. It features a 10mm pixel pitch and industry-leading environmental protection to provide the audience at Citizens Bank Park with excellent image clarity and contrast.
The display has all the features that fans of outfield video displays have come to expect. This includes variable content zoning, allowing multiple zones to be displayed with graphics and information ranging from live video to instant replays, as well as statistics, game information, animations and sponsorship messages.
