Daqo New Energy Subsidiaries Announce Five-Year High-Purity…

SHANGHAI, October 14, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Daqo New Energy Corp. DQ (“Daqo New Energy”, the “Company” or “we”), a leading producer of high-purity polysilicon for the global solar PV industry, today announced that its Xinjiang Daqo and Inner Mongolia Daqo subsidiaries have signed a five-year high – Pure polysilicon supply agreement with Shuangliang Silicon Materials (Baotou) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shuangliang Eco-Energy (SH:600481) (“Shuangliang”), to supply its rapidly growing solar wafer business.

Under the terms of the supply agreement, Xinjiang Daqo and Inner Mongolia will supply Daqo Shuangliang with a total quantity of 150,300 MT of high-purity single-grade polysilicon November 2022 to December 2027. Actual prices are negotiated monthly by both parties according to market conditions.

Mr. Longgen Zhang, Chief Executive Officer of Daqo New Energy, commented, “This five-year polysilicon supply agreement will strengthen our collaboration with Shuangliang, a pre-eminent solar wafer manufacturer with very rapid capacity expansion plans. We expect demand for high-purity monograde polysilicon to remain strong as the market gradually transitions to next-generation N-type technology.
