Denzel’s, a brand of healthy treats for dogs, has launched a “special” Valentine’s Day gift in over 300 Tesco stores and specialty pet stores nationwide.
Founded by Nathan Perry and James Lacy, the company launched in 2018 with initial funding from Virgin StartUp and recently received investment from Holly Branson and a “minority” strategic investor.
The new recipe, made with peanut butter, strawberries and carob, is also vegan and will be available through February 14th.
The brand says 31% of dog owners prefer to spend Valentine’s Day with their dogs, and Denzel’s new limited-edition treats are suitable for all dogs 12 weeks and older.
Each bag contains approximately 60 low-calorie rewards and comes in plastic-free and home compostable bags. The brand says it promises eco-friendly packaging that will naturally decompose in weeks rather than centuries, unlike single-use plastics.
