More than a year before Michigan residents will go to the polls to vote for the GOP nominee they believe should be the next president, the potential swing state is showing mixed results in a new poll the voters.

What happened: The 2024 election will likely see the Republican Party in a two-person race to secure the nomination for the party’s presidential nomination. While many pundits expect the election will come down to a race between Florida governor Ron DeSantis and former President donald trumponly has Trump launched its official campaign.
