HAIFA, Israel, May 18, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Elbit Systems Ltd. ESLT ESLT (“Elbit Systems” or the “Company”) announced today that it has been awarded a 15% contract under an agreement between the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Netherlands Ministry of Defense $305 million Delivery of “Precise & Universal Launching System” (PULS) artillery rocket systems to the Royal Netherlands Army. The contract will be implemented over a period of five years.
Under the contract, Elbit Systems will supply 20 PULS artillery rocket systems integrated on the selected COMMIT (formerly DMO) truck platform, as well as rockets and missiles of various ranges, as well as training and support services.
Elbit PULS is a system developed with an open architecture approach, supporting future growth, the ability to integrate legacy C4i solutions and the flexibility to adapt to specific customer requirements.
PULS offers a comprehensive, cost-effective solution that supports the launch of both free-flying missiles and precision-guided missiles with a range of 12 km up to 300 km. The PULS launch vehicle is a fully customizable launch system and can be mounted on a wide range of wheeled and tracked platforms, resulting in a significant reduction in maintenance and training costs for older fleets.
