Elbit Systems Receives Order Worth Approximately $71 Million From…

Haifa, Israel, May 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Elbit Systems Ltd. ESLT ESLT (“Elbit Systems” or the “Company”) announced today that its UK subsidiary Elbit Systems UK has been awarded a contract valued at approximately US$71 million by the UK Ministry of Defense for the supply, maintenance and operation of the synthetic ground maneuver trainer systems ( GMST) received the Boxer armored vehicles and Challenger 3 tanks under the British Army’s Vulcan project. The contract will be delivered over a three year period with an additional nine year period covering operation and maintenance services at UK facilities.

The first phase of delivery of systems from Elbit Systems UK will support the first arrivals of the British Army’s new mechanized infantry vehicle – Boxer. The initial capability provided by Elbit Systems UK includes a comprehensive platform trainer that meets both collective and individual training needs.

The program will include high-fidelity driver trainers and cabs for turret and armament variants, supported by a fully digital training management system.
