What happened: After Tesla’s Tweet from the Cybertruck “crash test”. on Saturday, CEO of the company Elon Musk tweeted that he walked the Cybertruck production line at Giga Texas for several hours.

“It’s going to be great,” he said of the vehicle, adding that it “feels like the future.”

The billionaire entrepreneur also separately tweeted the crash test video, urging followers to “wait for it.”

Why it matters: Cybertruck will be Tesla’s next big vehicle after the S, X, 3, Y and Semi models. It is expected to have a commercial release later this year. Since its announcement in November 2019, the Cybertruck has generated a lot of excitement and Tesla fans are excited.

The Cybertruck, on the other hand, might be late for the party Rivian Automotive, Inc RIVN R1T electric pickup and Ford Motor Co f The pickup F-150 Lightning is already on the market. Still, Tesla supporters see the truck as a market disruptor and the launch as Tesla’s “iPhone” moment.
