Elon Musk thinks this Starlink product needs a re-branding as it watches…

Tesla Inc TSLA chairman Elon Musk think that SpaceX‘s Starlink for recreational vehicles needs a branding reorientation.

What happened: Musk shared a corporate tweet saying Starlink for RVs now has over 100,000 customers.

Musk noted that Starlink with RV is just regular Starlink but with “roaming capability,” making it possible to take a terminal anywhere.

Why it matters: The Starlink for RVs service allows users to access the Internet on demand with coverage for $135 per month and a one-time hardware cost of $599.

Coverage maps shared on the Starlink website show the service can be used in parts of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the United States, Canada and some countries in Latin America and Europe.

Starlink got green signal from USA Federal Communications Commission to Provision of internet on cars, boats and airplanes in June.

In August, Musk said it would be a “kickass internet connection.” Comes on Royal Caribbean ships.
