Tesla Inc CEO Elon Musk said last May that President Joe Biden errs in believing that he was elected to “change the country”.
What happened: The entrepreneur tweeted that Biden was elected because “everyone just wanted less drama.”
Though Musk said he thinks a “less divisive candidate” would be better in 2024, he retained that former president Donald Trump’s The Twitter account should be restored.

Dogecoins DOGE/USD co-creator Bill Markus said in response to Musk, “I’d like some options for candidates who aren’t super awful… Is that asking too much?”
Musk replied, “And younger than 8,000 years old too!”
Why it matters: Musk, who is about to take over Twitterlast week mentioned prohibitions on the social media platform and said he would reverse Trump’s impeachment.
The billionaire is reportedly too before a federal investigation for violating rules related to disclosure, having acquired a significant stake in the microblogging site.
Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has supported Musk on restoring Trump’s account and said banning the former president while Dorsey was still CEO was a “business decision”.
Musk has previously called Biden a “Humidity [sock] Human puppet.” After being repeatedly snubbed by the Biden administration, Musk met with his representatives last month along with other car managers.
