(OTC Pink: FLXT) is pleased to announce that it has received an additional order for sensors for an impact detection system. As previously announced Flexpoint has entered into an agreement with a leading US manufacturer/OEM to provide custom bends^® Sensors for a crash detection system for autonomous vehicles in the United States. An autonomous vehicle is a driverless vehicle capable of sensing its surroundings and moving safely with little or no human intervention.

By strategically placing Flexpoint’s patented impact detection sensor in key impact areas of the vehicle, we are able to play a critical role in advancing the autonomous vehicle market. Once production begins, orders will escalate over the next few years.

Clark Mower, President of Flexpoint, stated, “We are pleased to be receiving additional orders for sensors for an impact detection system so quickly after the previously announced deliveries. This order represents additional orders that we have announced and anticipate in the near future.”
