Ford, Apogee Enterprises, and 3 Stocks to Watch Heading into Tuesday -…

With US stock futures trading lower this Tuesday morning, some of the stocks that may draw investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects Apogee Enterprises, Inc. APOG to report quarterly earnings of $0.83 per share on pre-opening bell sales of $344.64 million. Shares of Apogee Enterprises are up 1.7% to $40.00 in after-hours trading.
  • Ford Motor Company f previewed the impact of parts shortages on the company in the third quarter and said inflation-related supplier costs will be approximately $1.0 billion higher than originally expected in the third quarter. The company expects to have approximately 40,000 to 45,000 vehicles in inventory by the end of the third quarter that are missing certain parts that are currently in short supply. Ford shares fell 4.6% in premarket trading to $14.25.
  • Analysts expect StitchFix, Inc. SFIX posted a quarterly loss of $0.61 per share on after-market sales of $489.02 million. Stitch Fix’s shares are up 0.2% to $5.02 in after-hours trading.

  • O2Micro International Limited OIIM Shares rose sharply in after-hours trading after the company announced it had received a revised preliminary non-binding offer to acquire the company. O2Micro shares are up 6.8% to $3.15 in the premarket trading session.
  • Cognex Corp CGNX raised its guidance for the third quarter ahead of its analyst day, which is scheduled for Tuesday. Cognex shares are up 5.8% in premarket trading at $44.15.
