FTX loses Visa as partner just a month after debit card connection – Visa…

visa inc v has reportedly suspended his month-long partnership with the collapsed cryptocurrency exchange FTX FTT/USD.

What happened: On October 7, Visa and FTX combined to offer FTX-branded Visa debit cards to international customers – with a focus on countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia in the early stages of rollout.

But just a month later, the partnership ended and FTX filed for bankruptcy. Shock of the entire cryptocurrency market. “We have terminated our global agreements with FTX and their US debit card program will be handled by their issuer,” a Visa spokesman said said Reuters.
