Make dough

When the oven is preheating, mix the cheese, almond flour, and yogurt in a bowl to start making the dough.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and baking powder. Set aside the egg mixture until ready to use.

Melt a bowl of cheese mixture in the microwave for 1 minute, then use a spoon or spatula to fold the dough. Put the keto naan bread dough back in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Next, add the egg mixture to the dough while it is still hot. Fold and knead the dough with a spoon or spatula until the eggs are absorbed and the dough is only slightly sticky.

Form Keto Naan

Cut the dough into 10 equal parts, and then roll each part into a small ball. You can do this on a floured surface (with bleached almond flour) or parchment paper.

Next, flatten each dough ball with your hands and shape it into an oval about 8 mm thick (1/4 inch).


Place the keto naan bread on a piece of parchment paper on the baking sheet and put it in the oven. Bake on the top rack for 8-10 minutes, until the edges begin to turn golden brown.

Then, take the scones out of the oven, brush them with seasoned melted butter, and put them back in the oven for 1-2 minutes to make them more golden. Wrap the cooked keto naan loosely in a towel to keep it warm until you are ready to serve.

I use the microwave to help me melt the mozzarella quickly while making the dough. This is the easiest way for me.

I know that some readers do not have a microwave oven and may still want to make this naan bread. Cheese can be melted on your stove.

Put the mozzarella cheese, yogurt, and almond flour in a saucepan and melt them over a low heat while stirring constantly to prevent burning.

Once the cheese is melted and soft, you can remove the pan from the heat and add the egg mixture. Then follow the remaining instructions to make your ketchup bread.


Keep your low-carb naan warm until you are ready to wrap the bread in a towel to absorb the heat.

The remaining crepes can be stored in an airtight container on the counter for 2-3 days. Keto naan bread can be stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
